Time, Dates, Price and Duration

Time: From 2 to 4h class.

Dates: Please email us for availability.

Due to different range rentals and/or fees, and fluctuating ammo prices, they are not included in the hourly rate and are the responsibility of the student.

Prices obtained directly from Homestead Training Center: Bay Rental plus shooter fee $50.00

Available times at Homestead Training Center: 9:00am to 1:00pm or 1:00pm t0 5:00pm

Available times at Warrior Gun Range: between 9am to 8pm

Topics, can include others if necessary:

• Firearms Safety in & outside your home
• Malfunctions
• Fundamentals: Draw, Grip, Stance, Sight Alignment, Trigger Press
• Reloads
• Support hand drills and malfunctions
• Shooting on the move
• Rifle Zero
• Close to far shots – 3 yards to 30 yards

Equipment List

• REQUIRED:
  • Functional and practical handgun. Rentals available
  • 200 – 250 rounds. (ammo is not included in price)
  • Minimum of 2 (3 suggested) working magazines. Single stack users should have double.
  • Pistol holster. Preferably a OWB (Out-side the waist band).
  • Pistol magazine pouches.
  • Sturdy belt to support equipment.
  • Ear protection (Electronic preferred).
  • Eye protection.
  • Sneakers or boots are a must. No open toed sandals/flip-flops.

• OPTIONAL (BUT RECOMMENDED):
  • Note pad, and pen/pencil.
  • Pants.
  • Rain gear. We will train in the rain. Range only closes due to lighting.

• OPTIONAL:
  • Hat.
  • Sun Screen.
  • Weapons lube.
  • Personal IFAK (Individual first aid kit). Gear to be used on yourself.
  • Cleaning kit and tools compatible with your handgun.
  • Protein Bar. (We will not stop for lunch).
  • Water/Gatorade.
